About the event
The Feeling of Being is The Society of Photographic Education (SPE) at Western
Washington University’s latest group show. With the mission of making art education and
professional practices accessible, SPE has cultivated a unique group of artists spanning various
artistic and educational backgrounds, which is part of what makes their shows so special.
Their third exhibition, The Feeling of Being, explores the idea of how we find ourselves
in the world and what it truly means to “be”, as one navigates the emotional and physical human
