AGUSTINA FOREST

Born amidst the vibrant and busy Buenos Aires, Agustina Forest's journey led her to the misty Pacific Northwest at the age of 24. With a sketchbook in hand and a compulsion to draw, she delved into this new environment, immersing herself in its people, translating fleeting moments into lasting impressions.

Her work revolves around figures, finding endless inspiration in the human form. Agustina Forest is a versatile artist who employs a diverse array of mediums to express her creative vision and to bring forth the inner world of her subjects. Through her art, Agustina invites viewers to connect with the portrayed individuals, fostering a sense of empathy and understanding.

Her paintings prioritize feeling and connection. Each stroke is a quiet acceptance of what already is: the beauty of existence without the need for justification. In a world obsessed with answers, her work reminds us that understanding does not come from dissecting, but from seeing, feeling, and being. The mind searches; the heart knows. And in her portraits, humanity is not questioned—it is simply and profoundly present.

Agustina is currently based in Bellingham, Washington and actively creates, exhibits, and collaborates on projects that reflect her artistic vision.
