Lori VanEtta is a self-taught, contemporary abstract artist based in Bellingham, Washington. She has worked with artists in Indonesia, and China, and is now collaborating with local artist Paul Niemi. Lori’s experimental acrylic paintings are known for vibrant colors and intricate details. Her goal is to add beauty and positive energy to our complex world. Her paintings have sold in several local galleries and are part of both private and public collections. Lori’s work has won a first in show award and praise for its variety.

Lori has been an artist and teacher for many years, teaching art to both children and adults. Projects include collaborating with students and the Bellingham Symphony to add visual interest to a concert, creating themed murals and enhancing learning with creative projects. She is currently teaching art at Dementia NW and an arts program for Veterans.
