TONG HOLZINGER
With a diverse background in makeup artistry and photography, Tong discovered her passion for clay in a beginner’s class in November 2022. After exploring various clays, porcelain emerged as her chosen medium for its purity, durability, and deep connection to her cultural heritage.
Working primarily in porcelain sets Tong’s work apart and allows her to fully explore form, texture, and light. Each piece is hand-carved or hand-painted to convey specific meanings, often inspired by nature, fine art, and quiet spiritual reflection. As her inspirations shift, her work continues to evolve in both concept and design.
In under a year and a half, Tong’s porcelain pieces have drawn the attention of local collectors, galleries, and major trade shows. She has received enthusiastic feedback from customers and seasoned potters across the Pacific Northwest, East Coast, Southwest, and beyond. In 2024, she received the Jury’s Choice Award at the Bend Summer Festival and began creating bespoke pieces for luxury homes.
Tong’s focus is on creating functional forms that feel timeless and uplifting, inviting daily use while offering moments of beauty, connection, and quiet healing.
